Mental health ambassadors getting ready for their festive bake sale
On Wednesday Year 9 spent the day Manchester Metropolitan University learning more about Higher Education and how to beat approach their options choices for KS4
120 students across three different days have had the opportunity to spend the day at The Williams Centre and learn more about the contribution of STEM subjects to F1. Thanks for having us.
Year 7 had a brilliant time this morning watching the Sleeping Beauty panto performed by the brill Sparks Dramatic Society! Oh yes they did!!!!
Busy few days for the PE department. Cross country on Tuesday with top ten finishes for at some KS3 students. Bowling competition with high scores of 120 and medals. And a competitive football fixture against Hyde. Well done to all students involved.
Yesterday the Academy celebrated Dickens Day to remember the work of Charles Dickens, with particular focus on A Christmas Carol and all things Victorian. Staff dressed up and students got to complete a range of crafts & activities with links to a traditional Victorian Christmas
