A group of ten Year 10 students signed up for Ashton’s Realising Aspirations Programme.
Students visited the college every Thursday after school and completed a range of subject specialist and study skills workshops to start to introduce them to Key Stage 5 study.
The students were brilliant and found the experience rewarding and incredibly valuable. At the end of the programme, all students from participating Tameside Schools attended an Award ceremony and Copley Academy had not one, but three award winners! Faye Pritchard, Grace Pullar, and Holly Pimlott. The standard of their work, which the students have shared with Miss Tidbury, was incredibly impressive.
