We are excited to introduce our new school name and logo, marking the beginning of an important new chapter. Shaped in collaboration with staff, students, and our wider community, this identity reflects who we are, our shared values, and our ambitions as part of Dixons Academies Trust.
Our school will be named Dixons Pennine Academy. Inspired by our new trust’s cultural metaphor of the mountain – which symbolises aspiration, progress, and the belief that every student can climb – the name reflects both ambitious purpose and a strong connection to our local landscape. It positions the school as a place of belonging, growth, and shared journey: a community moving upward together, shaped by its environment and inspired by the opportunities ahead.
Our new logo is inspired by the Dixons cultural metaphor of the mountain: a symbol of aspiration, determination, and taking a step up every day. The shape echoes the sense of ascent and collective progress.
